Job Description

**Who we are**

Aurora’s mission is to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly.

The Aurora Driver will create a new era in mobility and logistics, one that will bring a safer, more efficient, and more accessible future to everyone.

At Aurora, you will tackle massively complex problems alongside other passionate, intelligent individuals, growing as an expert while expanding your knowledge. For the latest news from Aurora, visit aurora.tech or follow us on LinkedIn.

Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. The People Organization is a core business enabler—we build and support the teams that make the Aurora Driver a reality.

Within the People team, the Training and Talent Development team is Aurora’s engine that powers our talent by transforming knowledge into measurable success. We ensure every Auroran has the amazing learning experiences they need to achieve peak performance, drive innovation, and consistently deliver world-class quality across our rapidly evolving enterprise.

We’re searching for a Training & Development Operations Specialist (LMS Admin). We are seeking a high-agency, systems-thinking training operations Specialist to serve as the architect and primary administrator of our learning ecosystem. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who thrives in the technical details of learning systems but understands the "why" behind talent development. You will be the "glue" between our Training and Talent Development strategy and the tech stack that delivers it.

As our Workday LEARN expert, you won't just maintain a system; you will ensure it is a force multiplier for our workforce. You will also act as a data storyteller, translating complex learning metrics into clear narratives for leadership.

**In this role, you will**
- **Master the LMS Ecosystem:** Serve as the primary administrator for Workday LEARN, managing all backend configurations, course deployments, and system optimizations.
- **Drive Data Fluency:** Go beyond standard reports to build insightful dashboards in tools like Mode, Holistics, or Crunchr, ensuring our decisions are informed by rigorous data.
- **Manage the Tech Stack:** Oversee the general Talent Development technical suite, ensuring seamless integrations and a frictionless user experience for all Aurorans.
- **Navigate Ambiguity:** Take loose learning concepts or business problems and translate them into structured technical charters and executed realities.
- **Force Multiply:** Remove blockers for the team by streamlining administrative processes and ensuring our learning systems work for us, not against us.
- **Master Change Management:** Design adoption strategies to ensure our distributed workforce understands and embraces new learning tools and updates.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Proven Workday LEARN Expertise:** A minimum of 3 years of direct experience administrating the Workday LEARN product. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
- **Analytical Rigor:** Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives. Experience with dashboarding tools (Mode, Holistics, Crunchr) or the ability to learn them quickly is highly preferred.
- **High Agency & Accountability:** You are a "driver," not a passenger. You track, prioritize, and drive projects without needing to be reminded.
- **Communication Range:** You can discuss system architecture with IT and strategy with senior People leaders with equal ease.
- **Continuous Improvement Mindset:** You are always thinking of ways to improve system efficiency while simultaneously delivering on current programs.
- **Agility & Urgency:** You thrive in a high-growth environment and deliver with a bias for action. You can pivot quickly as business needs evolve and possess the resilience to push projects across the finish line on tight timelines without sacrificing quality.

The base salary range for this position is $83,000 - $120,500 per year.  Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
