**Team Description**

Join the Platform Experience team, a core group within our GPTO Engineering organization, where you will report to the Director of Engineering. Our team is on a mission to provide the unshakeable foundation of trust, security, and scale for the entire Anaplan ecosystem. We empower our internal developers and external partners to build with speed and confidence.

**Your Impact**
- Lead the technical vision and execution for quality assurance across our Platform Experience, spanning Product Security, Platform Management, and Data Integration.
- Architect, design, and build the next generation of highly available, secure, and scalable testing frameworks and strategies that ensure the robustness and reliability of our platform's backbone services.
- Collaborate with architects and Product Partners to align quality assurance implementation patterns with long-term direction, applying a product mindset to ensure platform quality solutions meet business and customer needs.
- Set the standard for QA engineering excellence through hands-on leadership in test automation architecture, insightful quality design, and strategic guidance across our backend technology stack (Java, Kotlin, Go, .NET).
- Mentor QA engineers and software engineers across teams through test design input, automation framework reviews, and best practice sharing for quality.
- Champion innovation in performance testing, security testing, tooling, and overall platform quality features.
- Drive technical planning for quality initiatives, shape our long-term quality strategy, and lead critical incident retrospectives from a quality perspective to ensure continuous improvement.

**Your Qualifications**
- A seasoned QA professional with 12+ years of experience building, testing, and scaling complex platform, infrastructure, or data-centric systems.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and implementing advanced test automation frameworks for modern back-end applications (Java/J2EE, Kotlin, Go, .NET) and distributed systems using RESTful APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Extensive experience with K8s, public and private cloud; multi-region, multi-tenant topologies from a quality assurance perspective.
- Proven experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and high-velocity release workflows, with a strong focus on integrating and automating quality gates throughout the pipeline.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of influencing engineering and product strategy to embed quality practices at every stage.
